Purchase Policy

Who We Are
Stageside is a ticketing platform for small, independent music venues in Texas. When you buy a ticket through Stageside, we collect payment on behalf of the venue hosting the event. The venue is responsible for the event itself — the performers, the date, the location, and the experience. We handle the transaction.
A ticket purchased through Stageside is a contract between you and the Venue. Stageside is not a party to that contract and is not responsible for the event. Title to each ticket and the right of admission it represents passes directly from the Venue to you at the time of purchase.

What You Pay
The price shown at checkout is what you pay. It includes:
- Ticket price — set by the venue in its sole discretion
- Service fee— Stageside's separate charge for platform services (shown as a separate line item). The service fee is not part of the ticket price.
- Sales tax— the combined Texas state and local sales tax for the event's location (6.25% state plus any local tax, up to 8.25%) on the combined ticket price and service fee, as required by the Texas Comptroller for amusement services
There are no fees added after checkout. What you see is what you pay.
All Sales Are Final
Tickets cannot be refunded because you changed your plans, can't attend, or bought them by mistake. This is the same policy used by every major ticketing platform, and it's necessary to protect venues that count on ticket revenue to pay performers and cover costs.
If you can't make it, you may be able to give your tickets to someone else. Contact the venue directly to find out if transfers are permitted for their event.
If an Event Is Canceled
If a venue cancels an event, you are entitled to a full refund of what you paid — including the ticket price, service fee, and sales tax.
Here's how it works:
- The venue notifies Stageside of the cancellation.
- Stageside issues a refund to your original payment method automatically.
- You'll receive an email confirmation of the refund.
Refunds are processed within a few business days of the cancellation being confirmed. Depending on your bank, it may take up to 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
If you don't receive your refund within 10 business days of the cancellation, contact travis@stageside.live within 30 days of the event's originally scheduled date and we'll resolve it.
If an Event Is Postponed or Rescheduled
If a venue postpones an event to a new date, your tickets remain valid for the new date. If you can't make the new date, contact travis@stageside.live and we'll work with the venue to get you a refund.
If the event is rescheduled to a date significantly different from the original — more than 72 hours from the original date — you're entitled to a refund if you can't attend.
If an Event Has a Lineup Change
Supporting acts and opening performers may change without qualifying for a refund. If the headlining artist is replaced, you are entitled to a refund — email travis@stageside.live with your order number and we'll process it.
What We Can't Refund
The following situations are not covered by our refund policy:
- You changed your plans or couldn't attend
- You were refused entry or removed from the venue (late arrival, age restrictions, intoxication, prohibited items, or other conduct issues)
- You bought tickets through a third party or unofficial channel — we can only process refunds for tickets purchased directly through Stageside
- Travel, accommodation, or other costs you incurred — we're only responsible for the ticket purchase itself
How to Request a Refund
For canceled events, refunds are automatic — you don't need to do anything.
For all other situations, email
travis@stageside.live with:
- Your order confirmation number (or the email address you used to purchase)
- The event name and date
- A brief description of your situation
I'll respond within one business day. If a refund is warranted, I'll process it and send you confirmation.
Order Lookup
You don't need an account to buy tickets. If you checked out as a guest, you can look up your order at any time using the email address you provided at checkout or the access link in your confirmation email.
If you can't find your confirmation email, contact travis@stageside.live with the email address you used to purchase and I'll help you locate your order.
Payment Security
All payments are processed by Stripe, one of the most trusted payment processors in the world. Stageside does not store your full card number. Your payment information is handled entirely by Stripe's secure systems.
